The Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) recently announced their 2020 Community Hero Award recipients. IFA’s VP Jaimie Sousa received the Young Professional Award, which recognizes someone living and working in the Lakes Region who has demonstrated strong community engagement, leadership development, and served as a role model for others. A former volunteer of the LRCC, Sousa’s involvement with the organization led to the creation of Fusion NH, the Lakes Region’s young professional organization. Sousa also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction.
“We applaud Jaimie on this wonderful recognition for her contributions to the greater good of the Lakes Region community,” said Mike Ventura, President & CEO. “Her efforts are truly appreciated by those organizations with whom she volunteers her time to improve upon the well-being of those in need of assistance.”
Sousa was presented her award by Karmen Gifford, President of LRCC, at her office with IFA in downtown Franklin.
